Product Description
Plantronics has announced the Voyager PRO HD Bluetooth headset, the latest in its high-end line of wireless headsets. The Voyager PRO HD's claim to fame is its Smart Sensor Technology that lets it know when a user is wearing it, and then it can route phone calls appropriately.
The Voyager PRO HD's Smart Sensor feature will route calls to the headset when it is worn on a user's ear, or route them to the phone itself when the headset is not worn, all automatically. It will also lock the headset when it is not worn to prevent accidental calls, and incoming phone calls can be answered by just placing the PRO HD on an ear - no button pressing required. Removing the headset while streaming audio or music will automatically pause whatever is playing. The Voyager PRO HD also has voice alerts for for remaining talk time, connection status, battery-level,pairing mode, and mute.
As with previous Voyager headsets, the PRO HD has noise cancellation and three levels of wind noise reduction. It is compatible with Plantronics Vocalyst Voice and Text Services that allow users to send and listen to emails and text messages, check the weather, or post updates to Facebook or Twitter without using their hands.
